Piano tuition available at reasonable rates in Clifden, Co. Galway. I specialise in teaching a stress free program that gradually introduces you to classical music and the piano in particular. A general background in the theory and history of music is provided along with the piano tuition. This is suitable for pupils above the age of seven. I’m always happy to talk to adults who are teaching themselves the basics but like to check in every now and again just to see how they’re progressing.

Over the years, I have been a member of several string quartets and string orchestras. Now, working with Shona O' Flaherty, local violinist, we are trying to put together a string orchestra for Connemara. We have a wide range of scores available and are willing to tutor those who do not feel confident in their skills. Our Violin / Viola Duo “The Shell Frogs” is available to hire for all sorts of occasions and we have a wide-ranging repertoire of both classical and traditional Irish music.
